I work with amazing, talented folks just like you—people who are incredibly good at what they do but feel overwhelmed when it comes to building (or finishing) their website.

Also? I’m one of you.

I have ADD too. But here’s the cool part: websites and copywriting are my hyperfocus zone. When I’m in the zone, I’m in the zone. That means while your brain might be zipping in five different directions, I’m locked in on building a website that feels like you, works strategically, and actually gets you customers.

So how do you know when it’s time to stop DIY-ing and start getting support? And how does that process work without adding more stress to your plate?

Let’s break it down.

Your “Coming Soon” Page Has a Birthday.
If your temporary homepage has celebrated a birthday—or even just a quarter—it’s probably time. This isn’t a judgment; it’s just a sign that the current system isn’t working for you. Your website is supposed to support your business, not haunt you like an open browser tab.

You’re Avoiding It (Even Though You Care Deeply).
If thinking about your website gives you low-key dread, you’re not lazy or broken. You’re likely stuck in decision fatigue, perfection paralysis, or both. This is super common with ADHD brains, which thrive on novelty and often stall out when it comes to finishing.

You’ve Got Great Ideas… but No Container for Them.
Maybe you’ve written bits of copy in five different Google Docs and have screenshots of other sites you love, but you can’t seem to pull it together. The vision is there—it just needs help getting into a format that lives online and actually works.

You’re Spending More Time on the Website Than Your Business.
Tinkering can be fun (hello, late-night Canva binges), but if your site is becoming a full-time job or a distraction from client work, it’s probably time to delegate.

You’re Ready to Grow, But the Website Doesn’t Reflect You.
Maybe your business has evolved, and your website doesn’t match anymore. Or you’ve never launched a real one at all. If your online presence is holding you back from confidently marketing yourself, that’s a sign.

You don’t need a full content plan or a perfectly written “About” section. I can help you get out of the weeds and onto the web.

Step 1: A Friendly Conversation

We start with a relaxed call or message exchange. You don’t need a pitch deck—just tell me where you’re at, what’s stuck, and what you want your website to do for your business. I listen, ask the right questions, and take notes so you don’t have to.

Step 2: I Organize the Chaos

Have a folder of half-written content and voice memos? Amazing. I help pull the gold from what you already have—your personality, your values, your voice—and shape it into something cohesive. If you’re not sure what to say, I can prompt you with questions and even do a mini interview to help tease it out.

Step 3: You Get a Website That Works (Without Burning Out)

Whether you need a simple one-page site or a full site with multiple service pages, I build it with clarity, ease of use, and visual strategy in mind. I’ll handle the techy stuff, and I’ll check in with you in ways that don’t overwhelm—short Loom videos, bullet-point summaries, and gentle timelines with flexibility baked in.

Bonus: I Hyperfocus So You Don’t Have To

While you’re juggling 50 other things, I’m locked in on getting your site done. I know what it’s like to lose steam halfway through a project—but for me, website creation is my zone of focus and flow. That means you don’t have to feel guilty for being “behind”—I’ve got it covered.

Imagine the serene, calming blue of ocean waters, or the vibrant energy of a coral reef bustling with life. Just as colors evoke distinct feelings in nature, they play a pivotal role in shaping how your audience perceives your brand. Beyond mere aesthetics, colors possess the unique ability to communicate messages and emotions at a subconscious level. Let’s take a closer look at how colors become the silent storytellers of your brand’s narrative:

Color Psychology and Emotion: Colors have a profound impact on human emotions and behavior, tapping into our subconscious in ways we might not consciously realize. For instance, warm tones like reds and oranges can evoke feelings of passion, energy, and excitement. Cooler tones, like blues and greens, often convey a sense of calm, trust, and reliability. By strategically selecting colors that align with your brand’s personality and message, you can create an immediate emotional connection with your audience.

Cultural and Contextual Influences: Colors can hold different meanings in various cultures and contexts. For instance, the color white can symbolize purity and new beginnings in Western cultures, while it represents mourning in some Eastern cultures. It’s essential to consider your target audience’s cultural backgrounds and associations with specific colors to ensure your brand’s visual identity is culturally sensitive and relatable.

Consistency in color usage across various platforms, from your website to social media and physical products, enhances brand recognition. Selecting a primary color that resonates with your brand’s core values and then complementing it with secondary and accent colors creates a harmonious palette that tells a cohesive story.

A deep blue might convey stability and professionalism, while a lighter shade of the same color can evoke feelings of tranquility and openness. By experimenting with variations of your chosen color palette, you can fine-tune the emotions you want to convey and align them with your brand’s personality.

The shapes within your brand’s visual identity create a unique visual language that speaks to your audience. These shapes aren’t just design elements; they’re carriers of meaning and perception that can profoundly influence how your brand is perceived. Here’s how shapes become an integral part of your brand storytelling,

Geometric Shapes and Emotions: Different shapes evoke different emotions and associations. Consider the difference between the sharp angles of a triangle and the soft curves of a circle. Triangles convey energy, stability, and dynamism, making them suitable for brands aiming to project strength. Circles, on the other hand, represent unity, harmony, and inclusiveness, making them an excellent choice for brands focusing on community and collaboration. By strategically incorporating these shapes into your logo, website, and other materials, you can infuse your brand’s identity with the emotions you want to evoke.

Organic Shapes and Natural Connection: Much like the natural contours of a manatee’s body create a sense of familiarity and connection, organic shapes in your branding can evoke feelings of comfort and authenticity. These shapes often mirror elements found in nature, like leaves, waves, or clouds. By using organic shapes, you can convey a sense of approachability and create a connection with your audience based on shared experiences in the natural world.

Balance and Composition: Just as a harmonious ecosystem sustains a manatee’s habitat, a balanced composition of shapes in your branding creates a visually pleasing experience. The arrangement of shapes, their sizes, and their interactions can communicate stability, creativity, or innovation. Striking the right balance ensures that your brand’s visual identity is not only aesthetically pleasing but also communicates the values and characteristics that define your business.

Shapes in Context: Consider how the same shape can take on different meanings depending on context. A square might symbolize structure and reliability on its own, but when placed within a larger design, it can convey the idea of a puzzle piece or building block, symbolizing growth and progress. Understanding how shapes interact within your brand’s design ecosystem enables you to convey layered messages that resonate with your audience on multiple levels.

Incorporating well-thought-out shapes into your brand’s visual identity is akin to imbuing your brand with a distinct visual vocabulary. Just as a manatee’s unique physicality communicates its essence, the shapes you choose for your branding work together to create a language that tells your brand’s story, emotions, and values. By harnessing the power of shapes, you can design an experience that resonates deeply and lingers in the minds and hearts of your audience.

Just as a manatee gracefully interacts with its environment, leaving a positive impact on those around it, your brand’s every touchpoint is an opportunity to cultivate meaningful connections with your audience. From the moment a customer discovers your brand to their ongoing engagement and beyond, each interaction shapes their perception and loyalty. Let’s explore how you can nurture relationships at every touchpoint to foster lasting bonds:

First Impressions Matter: Your brand’s initial encounter with a customer sets the tone for the relationship. Whether it’s through your website, social media presence, or storefront, prioritize creating welcoming and intuitive experiences that resonate with your audience’s needs and preferences. Invest in user-friendly interfaces, personalized messaging, and seamless navigation to ensure that every first impression leaves a positive and memorable mark.

Consistency Builds Trust: Much like the steady presence of a manatee in its habitat, consistency across all touchpoints reinforces your brand’s reliability and credibility. Whether customers interact with your brand online, in-store, or through customer service channels, ensure a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and level of service. Consistency breeds familiarity and trust, laying the foundation for deeper connections and long-term loyalty.

Empathy and Personalization: Understanding your customers’ needs and preferences is key to building meaningful relationships. Leverage data and insights to personalize interactions and anticipate customer needs at every touchpoint. Whether it’s through tailored recommendations, personalized communications, or proactive support, demonstrating empathy and understanding creates a sense of value and care that resonates with customers on a personal level.

Responsive Engagement: Responsive engagement with your audience strengthens the bond between your brand and its customers. Whether through social media, email, or live chat, be prompt and attentive in addressing inquiries, feedback, and concerns. Show genuine interest in fostering two-way communication, inviting customers to share their experiences, ideas, and feedback. By actively listening and responding, you demonstrate your commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Post-Purchase Delight: The relationship with your customers doesn’t end after a purchase; it’s just the beginning of a journey together. Like a manatee’s playful antics, surprise and delight your customers with post-purchase experiences that exceed their expectations. Whether it’s through personalized thank-you notes, exclusive offers, or follow-up communications, continue to nurture the relationship beyond the transaction, turning customers into loyal advocates for your brand.

By nurturing relationships at every touchpoint, you transform ordinary interactions into opportunities for meaningful connection and growth. Just as a manatee’s presence brings joy and wonder to those around it, your brand’s commitment to fostering genuine connections leaves a lasting impression on customers, turning them into loyal advocates who are eager to dive deeper into the ocean of experiences you offer.
